ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Bryan Robles worked as a high school teacher for 40 years. He had multiple certificates that allowed him to teach everything from biology and environmental science, to commercial art and Spanish, but in his final ten years he had his dream job teaching Marine Biology. During his long career as an educator he dabbled in art, doing free-lance comic book art, comic strips for local newspapers, and storyboard art for TV commercials. Now that he has retired from teaching, he’s beginning his second career as a graphic novel author and illustrator. He holds a B.A. degree in scientific illustration and a MS in biology from the University of Washington. He and his wife now live in Oklahoma.
